When Fortnite collaborates with another IP, the results are mutually beneficial. Epic gets to make a whole bunch of new cosmetics, challenges, and the like, and the IP in question gets a popularity boost (and some money on the side). Collab skins and cosmetics are arguably the most popular items in Fortnite. More than 100 franchises, celebrities, and other games have collaborated with Epic Games for mutual benefit. And now, during one conversation, the creator of one of the most popular cozy farming sims said they are very open to working with Fortnite.
Concerned Ape Would Love a Stardew Valley x Fortnite Crossover
On August 26, a popular content creator Panedwards published a conversation they had with Concerned Ape, the man behind Stardew Valley. They asked whether a collaboration between Stardew Valley and Fortnite would be possible, where Concerned Ape replied: “Yeah, I’ve been trying to, I want Pam in Fortnite, I’m open to doing a collab.”
For those of you who don’t know, Pam is a bus driver in Pelican Town (the village in Stardew Valley) with a drinking problem. Ape continues with: “It doesn’t have to be Pam though I would be open for anything, Abigail & Sebastian could be good. Stardrop or Joja Cola item? Galaxy Sword or slingshot?”
Fans Thrilled With the Possibility
Since Pam is the bus driver, the fans want to see her driving the battle bus in Fortnite. User Itz_aishu said: “Seeing Pam in Fortnite would definitely bring some Stardew Valley charm to the game. Can’t wait to see if this collaboration happens!” On the topic of two other characters, MintSparkle said: “As funny as Pam in [Fortnite] would be, I like the idea of Abigail and Sebastian if it is for Battle Royale because it could somehow make it clear that they are playing it as an arcade or console game (rather than actually shooting people) which could be really fun!”
Stardrop is one of the most powerful items in Stardew Valley which increases your maximum Energy, so in a crossover with Fortnite it could replenish your Health and allow you to sprint for longer without getting tired. Joja Cola could be a regular Health/Shields consumable.
Galaxy Sword, one of the most powerful swords in the game, would either be a melee weapon or a Pickaxe skin in Fortnite. The Slingshot would either be a damage consumable, or a Bow/Crossbow type of weapon.
There are a lot of possibilities when it comes to the Fortnite x Stardew Valley collab. As one fan said, a Junimo backpack would be perfect, and Krobus as a vendor as well. Finally, imagine how much Stardew Valley would add to LEGO Fortnite. The possibilities are endless. As Stardew fans, we truly hope that this collab will happen in the future.
