It is not the first time someone from the Epic Games team accidentally (or purposefully) released some unfinished content. That’s how we got a glimpse of the Fall Guys skin before the release. And now, some Fortnite Crew members got a mysterious Jam Track in their locker.
A “Coming Soon” Jam Track Appeared in Some Lockers
Shiina, a popular leaker, posted on X that “Fortnite just added a mysterious Jam Track to the API Some people already received the Jam Track earlier today, and its name is just “Coming Soon” Epic Games also instantly deactivated this Jam Track through a hotfix, so nobody can actually use it right now.”
It seems to be given to those players who are members of Fortnite Crew and appears in the locker with no name, and a simple image of the number “100”.
Players Speculate in What Could It Be
Since “Coming Soon” is almost definitely an unreleased jam track, players started giving their guesses on what it would be. Some think it will be another song from Weeknd. “Might be for the Weeknd since he returns in a few days and his new album drops soon” said JawsClawsPaws. Others think, since Karol G is the headliner of the current Fortnite Festival season, that this is another one of her songs.
Alternatively, to follow the theme of the current Fortnite Battle Royale season, a lot of players think it will be a song by MF Doom. “It has to be MF DOOM,” said mourningmori, “Not even that big fan of MF DOOM, but his music still fire, and it’ll be Epic if we got some jam tracks with his songs” added _Enal_07, and “MF DOOM TRACK JAM PLEASE EPIC,” said bigboyandre3000.
Our bets are also on MF Doom, since the update we got recently added Dr Doom as a skin (and other thematic cosmetics). We guess will get the answer to this question in the next update, at the latest, scheduled for somewhere around September 17.
