How to Make Planks in LEGO Fortnite
You’ll first need to build a Lumber Mill if you want to make planks in LEGO Fortnite. You can find this item outlined in the Build menu on the Utility page. Details will be listed under the Stations section, where it’s specified that you’ll need:
- x8 Wood
- x15 Granite
Both of these resources can easily be found in or around the starting area of the game mode, so building yourself a Lumber Mill shouldn’t cause you too much trouble.
With the station built, you can interact with it to make planks. When you do this, you can freely choose the quantity you want to convert from the wood you’ve collected. Luckily, you’ll just need one piece of wood per plank. This makes the task at hand much easier, as you usually need a greater quantity of low-quality resources to construct more durable materials in other titles within the genre.
The conversion is typically completed within just a few seconds. That said, you should be sure to pick up finished materials when you can, or else these items won’t be added to your inventory for future use. To monitor progress at your Lumber Mill, keep an eye on the item icon that appears above the station. This will let you know how many materials can be collected.
