You can find Knotroot in LEGO Fortnite in caves. Caves are scattered all around, especially in rocky areas. When inside (remember to bring some Torches), look for large knotted roots that are coming out of the wall. Hack them with your Axe and they will drop some Knotroot when destroyed. The important note is that you need an Uncommon (Green) Forest Axe (or better) to get Knotroot. Hacking with a Common Axe will only net you some regular Wood.

How to make an Uncommon Forest Axe
Since you need an Uncommon Forest Axe to get Knotroot in LEGO Fortnite, here is how to craft one. First, you need an Uncommon Crafting Bench (to upgrade your Crafting Bench to Uncommon quality, you need three Shells and eight Planks).
