If you haven’t heard yet, leaks claim that a Fortnite x Deadpool and Wolverine collaboration is happening. The community is hyped over the possibilities. Let’s see what might await us in the very near future.
What to Expect From the Fortnite x Deadpool and Wolverine Collab
An X Fortnite leaks account shared a first look at this collab. They simply posted: “DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE COLLABORATION“. Afterward, this account added: “There are no encrypted skins in the current update besides Deadpool & Wolverine”.
As you might have expected, the reactions to this announcement were overwhelming. The “Shut up and take my money” gif was everyone’s first reaction, and ours as well. This collaboration looks very aesthetically pleasing.
One player, xChronicChoofx, noted: “Yeah I thought for sure we wouldn’t get a new Deadpool and Wolverine because of the Weapon X skin. I’m pleasantly surprised”. Speedm222 added: “Wolverine is the first crossover character to get two variant skins within the span of a month”.
That fact aside, players mostly acknowledged how great Wolverine and Deadpool looked. Several players noticed that these skins might be subtle hints for the upcoming movie. Alixak1371 mused: “Skins from the movie animated? Is this hint to Deadpool and Wolverine traveling to the animated Universe in the movie”. You’ll have to wait for the premiere to find that out!
It seems that some players were annoyed with this type of animation. One Redditor, turmspitzewerk, bitterly stated: “I love getting a weird, slightly f**ked up alternate version of a skin because the real skin is wrapped up in a stupid 5+ year FOMO marketing strategy”.
Some Leaks Claim More Marvel Content is Coming to Fortnite
The same account for Fortnite leaks on X revealed that the players might want to save up for another Marvel collab. The post stated: “Fortnite likely added new Marvel teasers. They added new constellations, the FINAL constellation is called “DOOM”, which is likely a hint at Doctor Doom’s return! There’s also one called “SWORD”, likely hinting at S.W.O.R.D”.
Lots of players pointed out that a Marvel collaboration is always a win. The most requested skins were Vision, Monica Rambeau, Daisy Jones, and, of course, Doctor Doom. Players raved about all the possibilities this collab might open.
Honestly, with the leaks of Fortnite x Deadpool and Wolverine, we aren’t sure how anyone can concentrate on anything else. We can’t wait to see these skins in-game, as we are sure everyone will be using them soon enough. As for other collabs, we’re still riding on the Pirates of the Caribbean wave. How about you?
