It has been a fruitful couple of days for the allegedly expected Fortnite content. After the Pirates of the Caribbean, the leaks are now predominantly about the info on the Fortnite x Marvel collaboration. Let’s see what they might have found out.
The Leaks Reveal the Rumored Release Date and Details
Several Fortnite leak accounts on X shared some rumored details about the continuous collaboration between Marvel and Fortnite. Shiina shared: “The ‘Weapon X’ skin will have 5 items as part of his set. His shop section is still unfinished for now, but it’s set to be in the Item Shop around July 5”. The accompanying image featured the supposed new Wolverine skin.
Some fans were over the moon. CourseWorried2500 said: “Yay!! I can finally get a Wolverine skin after the other 2 aren’t coming back”. It’s known that Wolverine is a fan favorite, but other characters deserve some love, as well. StormeSurge wondered: “Where tf is Cyclops, this is the third Wolverine skin”.
While we still don’t have an answer to that question, other fans proposed ideas. Tidus4713 suggested: “Probably the Battle Pass. Heard rumors the Marvel season is going to be very Fantastic Four and X-Men centric but we’ll see”. Another player, 1ronmanrulez, had a different wish: “I missed the OG Marvel season, so I’m hoping for a new Iron Man skin. I know he exists on a Zero War version, but it just ain’t the same”.
This Fortnite and Marvel Collab Might Feature a Bunker Landmark
Another account sharing the leaks and info about the Fortnite and Marvel colab, PeQU, shared some supposed information. The account shared a video of a bunker. They added: “Upcoming bunker landmark. Wolverine and Magneto have escaped”.
Now, the fans went absolutely berserk over this alleged bunker. OceansideGuy93 noted: “I can’t believe we’re getting another Marvel season! Chapter 2 Season 4 was the most fun I ever had in Fortnite. I really hope they can restore the feeling with this one”. NicoTheBear64 added: “I hope they bring back the Thanos mode, I missed out on the second coming and have been itching to play since it first launched”.
The leak stated that Wolverine and Magneto escaped, but some players hoped that someone else was trapped with Wolverine. MutantCreature listed: “Two tubes, who’s the other for? Deadpool? Omega Red? Lady Deathstrike?”. Jtneagle feared for the worst. They said: “That Banana in the test tube concerns me that the Marvel Season 2 Battle Pass is going to have Fortnite OC mash-ups sprinkled in. If I see ‘Peelverine’ and others taking up a slot, I’m going to be severely disappointed”.
