Two-Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, is a security measure to protect your account. In Fortnite, this allows you to keep all your unlocks, skins, and progression safe. - Got your Fortnite Account page.
- Find and click the Password and Security tab.
- Scroll down and locate the Two-Factor Authentication section.
- You will find switches that you can enable for the 2FA method of your choice. You can choose between Authenticator App (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, LastPass Authenticator, or Authy), SMS Authentication, and Email Authentication.
- After picking your authentication method of choice, you will have to verify that 2FA has been enabled. If you chose the App, it will generate the verification code. If you chose SMS or Email, then the code will be sent to them respectively. Check your mobile device if you’re unsure.
- Input the code you received in the field and you will see a message that the process was successful.
- Refresh your account page and check that your chosen authentication method is enabled with the switch showing as being “on”.
