How to Catch a Snowy Flopper Fish in Fortnite?

Catching a Snowy Flopper is almost the same as catching any other fish in Fortnite. First, to even have the option to fish, you need to find a Fishing Rod. These are looted as any other weapon or item in the game. Moreover, you can find Barrels with Fishing Rods sticking out of them, usually located near bodies of water.

The other thing you should do is to go to the snowy area of the Island, where Snowy Flooper is more common. Once there, with a Fishing Rod in hand, look for white splashes/rings in the water. This is where you can get some fish. You can even spot some fish jumping out of the water in those areas.

How to Use a Fishing Rod?

Using a Fishing Rod is quite simple. Once equipped, turn towards the white splashes in the water and simply hold the button you use for shooting. This will let you choose where you want to cast your hook. Aim for one of the white rings where the fish are and release.

Once the lure hits the water, wait for the tug, symbolizing that you caught something. Simply press the fire button again to reel it in, and you have successfully caught a fish. Note that you can fish out other stuff, apart from fish, like weapons and other consumables.

If you didn’t get a Snowy Flopper, repeat the whole process on another fishing spot until you get one. Snowy Floppers are quite common in the snowy areas of the Island so we doubt you will waste much time looking for one.

What Is a Snowy Flopper in Fortnite?

Snowy Flopper is a Fish-type consumable, of the Uncommon rarity. Consuming it restores 40 Health. Additionally, consuming one grants you the Icy Feet effect.
