Even with the imminent release of Season 4 in Fortnite, some players still have the time to discuss forgotten collabs. We can’t blame them – it feels like there are so many collabs that outshine the others. Therefore, it’s sensible to remember some of the past ones released over the years that may not have made a mark. After all, some of them have paved the way for other more successful ones. Also, no matter what is the collab in question, there’s bound to be someone out there who has it pinned as their favourite. So let’s see what are some of the most forgotten collabs in Fortnite.
Fortnite fans remember the most forgotten collabs
To get the ball rolling, Reddit user ITSTHEGUYFROMFN began the thread by asking the very question – What’s the most forgotten Fortnite collab? They offered Gears of War as the first suggestion. And honestly, that’s a pretty good start! How many remember that Gears of War was part of Fortnite?
Other fans have flocked to the topic which has garnered over 1.1k upvotes on the platform. User Skelibutt piped in with another one that had a very short lifespan in Fortnite. Namely, Wreck-it Ralph. Many commenters didn’t even know there was such a collab to begin with. Likely because it happened all the way back in Season 6 of Chapter 1.
There was even a very odd suggestion, though no less valid. Segway Scooters. Yup, there was a collab with Segway in Chapter 3 Season 2, and frankly, no one can blame the fans for forgetting about that one. Another one that came out of left field was the Mistborn collab, based on Brandon Sanderson’s beloved novel series of the same name.
Although the above suggestions were the most upvoted, another forgotten collab that caught our eye includes Tenet, based on the Christopher Nolan film. You’d think that there’s a large disparity between a Nolan film and Fortnite audience, right?
With plenty of one-offs and collabs that resulted only in a passing mention, emote, or sticker, there is plenty to reminisce about. Unless you have also forgotten about them, as the topic suggests. That beggars the question – what is the most obscure, forgotten collab that you remember fondly?
