Season 4 of Chapter 4 of Fortnite is just around the corner! Epic Games revealed the official trailer yesterday, and the community has had the time to settle with the news. Opinions are flaring in every direction and we’re here to check the pulse. As it turns out, the fan speculation about a heist theme has been proven correct. But there is much more to it than it initially seemed. The trailer goes into extra detail, and fans are already hard at work deciphering every little tidbit of information.
Fortnite Community reacts to Season 4 trailer
After the trailer dropped on the Fortnite Twitter account, players have taken to both Twitter and Reddit to vocalize their opinions. The trailer features a heist in progress, with characters breaking into the new Crescent POI to loot the place. But it seems they’ve found themselves in some deep water by the end.
As expected, Fortnite players were vocal about everything that they like and dislike. For instance, the promo art features Khaby and Ahsoka, who are speculated to be a part of the Season 4 Battle Pass. More pessimistic players believe one of them will be the level 100 unlock.
One of the biggest points of interest for players has been the expansion of vampire lore in Fortnite. With the Halloween event falling neatly into Season 4, and a set from Season 1 being Let’s Hunt Vampires, this trailer and season look to bring a culmination to that idea. Especially seeing how the villain of the trailer has some clear vampiric and demonic features. Besides looking cool, of course.
On the negative side, some players think that this season will flop. Others argue that the offering is lacklustre and only tugs at the spectacle that will die down a week into the season. However, those opinions seem to be mostly outliers. The vast majority of Fortnite players seem stoked about Season 4 and all the new goodies that are coming with it.Â
