How Long Does It Take To Complete Final Fantasy XVI Demo?
The demo for Final Fantasy 16 can take between two to four hours of gameplay. This depends on how quickly you rush through it, or alternatively, how much you look around. It’s also possible that it may take longer if you have to load saves after defeat.
The demo will introduce you to the new combat system in Final Fantasy 16. You will play as an older and younger version of Clive and visit a few locations in Valisthea. Namely, you’ll get to see Clive’s family castle, Phoenix Gate, and a goblin-infested swamp.

And even after you’ve completed the story portion of the demo, you can head back and try Eikon challenges. These can be replayed indefinitely, so there’s plenty of opportunity to sharpen your skills for the real deal.
Does the Final Fantasy 16 Demo Progress Carry Over?
The answer to this question is twofold. You will be able to carry over a part of your progress from the demo, but not all of it. Specifically, your progress from the demo’s story prologue will be carried over to the released game, but your Eikon challenges will not transfer over.
