Fallout 4: How to start the Brotherhood of Steel quests
To start the Brotherhood of Steel questline, players need to lactate the Brotherhood first. Head to Cambridge, near the centre of the map, to the right of Graygarden. Once you get close, you’ll receive the frequency that you need to listen to using your Pip-Boy.
This will trigger the Fire Support quest, which is the first quest in the Brotherhood of Steel’s questline. Head straight for the Cambridge Police Station and help Paladin Danse and other humans defeat the feral ghouls. After the fight, you can speak to Paladin Danse and continue doing the Brotherhood of Steel quests.
How to join the Brotherhood of Steel
After you finish the Fire Support quest, you will receive a new quest to prove your worth to Paladin Danse. Accompanying the Paladin on a Call to Arms quest, you will have to do a series of switch activations while fighting against Synths. Once you’ve succeeded in helping Paladin Danse complete this quest, you’ll be offered a choice to join the Brotherhood of Steel.
