The new Season in Diablo 4 has recently been released, and it brought with it a lot of new features (like the Tempering and Masterworking features), Bosses, Items, and fixes. But, unfortunately, new updates occasionally come with new errors, which is the case with the latest 1.4.0c update. Players report that they are unable to enter The Pit or other Nightmare Dungeons. How to Fix Stuck on the Loading Screen When Trying to Zone Into The Pit in Diablo 4

Currently, there are no official fixes and workarounds to get you out of this situation. After the recent patch, players report getting stuck when trying to zone into The Pit, or any other Dungeon. Some players even get stuck when using Waypoints. This issue is almost guaranteed to be on Blizzard’s side, but you can still try some of these fixes until the devs fix the issue.

Players recommend trying the usual workarounds to get out of this situation.

  • Close Diablo 4 and run it again – this may refresh your connection to Blizzard’s servers, giving you another go to successfully enter a Dungeon.
  • Restart your Platform – if a soft reboot does not work, restarting your console or PC may be the solution. This will clear up any cache that you have had, that prevented you from establishing a good connection with Blizzard’s servers.
  • Reboot your Router – rebooting your router will refresh your internet connection, and that may help in dealing with this issue.

What to Do if You Cannot Fix the Stuck on Loading Screen Error?

As mentioned previously, this error came with the latest Patch, so the issue is most definitely on Blizzard’s side. You can try the usual workarounds, but if the error is with the servers, there is little you can do but wait it out.

Players express their dissatisfaction, with questions and statements like “Can we roll back the patch?” or “This is why we need an offline mode”. Fortunately, it looks like Blizard is aware of the issue and is trying to roll back the latest changes. Slowly but steadily, more and more players report that the issue has been removed for them, so if you did not have any success with the aforementioned fixes, simply give it time and the issue will resolve itself.
