Season 2 is upon us and we cannot enjoy it with our regular Eternal Characters. As in Season 1, we must make a character specifically for it, so here’s how to create a Seasonal Character in Diablo 4.
Seasonal Characters is a mechanic in Diablo 4 where you can access seasonal content only with characters made for that particular Season. It is a perfect opportunity to try out a different class or build. When the Season ends, all Seasonal Characters are transformed into regular, Eternal Characters. But how do we go about doing that? Read on.
Creating A Seasonal Character In Diablo 4
How to create a Seasonal Character in Diablo 4 may seem tricky and counter-intuitive, but we are here to guide you through the process.
- First off, from the Main Menu, go to Create New Character.
- From there, choose a Class you would like to play.
- This will lead you to the character customization screen, where you can choose the appearance and accessories for your character.
- Once you’re done go to Finalize and type in the name for the new character.
- You can also choose if you want to skip the Campaign (recommended if you want to jump into seasonal content as soon as possible) and/or play on Hardcore mode.
- Click on Start Game.
- Finally, you will be asked if you want this character to be Seasonal or Eternal.
- Pick Seasonal Realm, obviously.
- The last thing is choosing the difficulty level, i.e. World Tier.
- You’re ready to start playing.
How To Start Playing The Season Of Blood
To begin the first quest in Season 2, you need to have skipped or completed the main Campaign first. Speak with Oren in Ked Bardu, located in the Dry Steppes, and begin the Blood Money quest. This will take you down the Season of Blood questline.
