World Bosses are new in Diablo 4, where players fight monsters giant enough to make the game screen zoom out. These battles allow up to 12 players to fight one at once with multiple teams since the party size remains at four and has a time limit of 15 minutes.
Players will not be able to see world bosses spawn until they have finished the campaign. This guide will show players every world boss and their spawn locations in the game.
All World Bosses in Diablo IV
There are three world bosses currently in the game as of Season 2: Ashava the Pestilent, Avarice the Gold Cursed, and Wandering Death. Each one features a giant health bar to deplete, though each one will have different attacks depending on how damaged their health is.

There are four locations around Sanctuary where world bosses can spawn:
- Caen Adar, Scosglen in the north
- Fields of Desecration, Hawezar in the south
- Seared Basin, Kehjistan in the southwest
- The Crucible, Fractured Peaks in the east
The world bosses do not set spawn locations, so each one can show up at any of the locations listed above. While the map will alert players with an icon and message when a world boss is about to spawn, players should have uncovered the entire map to not miss when one happens.
