Have you been asking how many Acts are there in Diablo IV? We are here to answer that question.
For some players, the Diablo 4 main Campaign may seem longer than they initially thought it would be. The story sprawls over many Acts and five different zones. It takes your character all over Estuary, as that whole region of Sanctuary is called. So how many Acts are there in Diablo 4’s Campaign? Let’s count them and find out.
What Is the Number of Acts in Diablo 4?
There are 6 Acts in total in Campaign of Diablo 4. While the game’s story is divided into these six Acts, though they are not of equal length. Some Acts are longer than others, and there’s also the Prologue that technically fits into Act I and the epilogue that fits into Act VI. They all have their own names, which are in order:
- Act I: A Cold and Iron Faith
- Act II: The Knife Twists
- Act III: The Making of Monsters
- Act IV: A Gathering Storm
- Act V: Secrets Bartered, Fates Sold
- Act VI: Dance of the Makers
It’s important to note that only Main Quests, marked in yellow in your Journal, count towards Act progression. Priority Quests, marked greyish-white, while appearing during the Campaign, don’t have an impact on progress. Neither do Side Quests, marked in blue in the Journal.
Where do Diablo 4 Acts Take Place?
Based on the Acts, you will travel through all regions in Estuary. Roughly, each Act takes place in one region, though that’s not a firm rule:
- The Prologue and Act I take place in Fractured Peaks.
- Act II takes place exclusively in Scosglen.
- Act III is set in Dry Steppes.
- Act IV is a short one, mostly in Kehjistan, with a slight departure back to Fractured Peaks.
- Act V fully takes place in swampy Hawezar.
- Finally, Act VI takes you back to Kehjistan, before venturing to Burning Hells.
- Lastly, the Epilogue bounces between Hawezar, Fractured Peaks, and Scosglen.
Are There Seasonal Acts in Diablo 4?
After the Campaign, if you’re playing a seasonal character, you can take part in seasonal quests, called Season Journey. However, the seasonal questline isn’t considered to be a separate Act. Instead, it represents the post-campaign seasonal endgame content. As such, it isn’t a part of the regular campaign or considered a bonus Act in any way.
