Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is an expansion pack for the original game, and it has no shortage of content itself. Bringing players a whole new set of quests and missions to embark on, this downloadable content isn’t some one-off story you finish in a few hours. With 18 new exciting main missions, you might be wondering how long it takes to beat Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. Keep reading to find out the answer.
How Long Does it Take to Beat Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?
Phantom Liberty has three different types of quests you can do: main storyline missions, side jobs, and additional gigs. To complete all of the storyline missions, you’re looking at anywhere between 15-20 hours worth of gameplay. It would take around 15 hours on the easiest settings and gradually increase with difficulty.
There are 18 main storyline missions in total that you need to complete to beat the game. You won’t be able to do all 18 in one playthrough since, after the 10th mission, the rest are choice-dependent, greatly affecting the ending and the path you take. So, if you are looking to explore all the side quests and different endings, you’ll be looking at more than 40 hours, given that you save the game before pivotal decisions and pick it up later.
As we mentioned, the higher the difficulty you’re playing on, the more time it takes. This is because the fights are longer, and it takes more time to figure out your next step. Regardless of what path you choose after Firestarter (the 10th mission), the game takes a long time because of all the cutscenes and dialogues you need to go through. If you want to take part in the side quests and gigs, that’s another story entirely.
Side Jobs and Gigs Length
We mentioned that there are two other types of quests you can pick up besides the main storyline quests. These include 21 side jobs and 10 gigs. Some side jobs are again dependent on your previous interactions, so you might need to replay the game to finish all of them.
For those of you who are aiming to complete all of these side quests as well, you’ll need to invest at least 10 more hours into the game compared to standard players. This raises the total gameplay time to 30 hours for all three types of quests.
