Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: How to Get Nibbles the Cat – 4 Simple Steps

After Cyberpunk 2077’s recent 2.0 update, you may have noticed a cat called Nibbles. This fur ball walks around in Megabuilding H10, leaving you to wonder if you could tame it. Fortunately, Nibbles is tameable and you can obtain Nibbles as a pet, adding some liveliness to V’s otherwise lonely apartment. Let’s find out how to get Nibbles the Cat in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.

How to Get Nibbles as Your Pet Cat in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

To get Nibbles as your pet cat, you have to leave cat food in a bowl near your apartment in Megabuilding H10 and then come by later to pick Nibbles up. Also, note that this can only be done after Act II’s main job, “Playing for Time”, has been completed. Now the question is, how exactly do you get your hands on cat food and approach Nibbles’ feeding area? Here’s how.

Complete the “Playing for Time” Job

For Nibbles to show up in V’s apartment building, you will first need to complete a main job with the name “Playing for Time”. This is the first main job in Act II of Cyberpunk 2077, in which you have your first interaction with Johnny and are presented with the dilemma of your psyche fading away. After you have completed this job, Nibbles the cat will soon show up in V’s apartment building, Megabuilding H10.

Buy Cat Food

The first and only item you need to get Nibbles as your pet is cat food. You can buy the cat kibble from a food vendor, KNJ’s, on the lower level of the roundabout in the Kabuki area. After buying the cat food, head back to your starting apartment to feed it to Nibbles.

Feed Nibbles

From the entrance of your apartment, turn left. Keep walking until you come across apartment number 0721. Then, turn right until you come across a trash can on the right side of the corridor. Inside this trashcan, there is a readable which says “Feed the cat”. After interacting with this readable, you will have the option to leave food in a bowl next to the trashcan. All you have to do is choose this option and wait for 24 hours. You can either spend these 24 hours doing other quests or simply sleeping in your apartment.

Take Nibbles With You

When you wake up or you finish waiting, head back to the bowl of food, and you’ll see Nibbles eating from it and Johnny standing next to Nibbles. You can now pick Nibbles up! When you do, a laundry basket (Nibble’s bed), a cat bowl, and a litter box will appear in V’s apartment, along with a cute fur ball of a cat!
