Will Counter Strike 2 Be On Xbox Series X|S?
There are currently no plans from Valve to bring Counter Strike 2 to either Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S. The Counter Strike series has mostly been a PC-exclusive series, except for a port of the original game for Xbox and Counter Strike: Global Offensive releasing for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2012.
It is no surprise that the game is not on Xbox, as it is a Steam game which uses many of the platform’s features including the Steam marketplace. It would take a great partnership between Microsoft and Valve for the latter to bring the game to Xbox and allow them to run and update the game as they please.
Will CS2 Come to Xbox Game Pass?
There are no plans to bring CS2 to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The game is currently only available on PC via Steam, and would seem highly unlikely that the new game would make its way the subscription service. The game is also free-to-play, and does not need to be behind a membership to play.
