With the release of CS2 and the introduction of the Source 2 engine, all maps have gotten an upgrade. Among them, Inferno has gone through some of the biggest changes of all the maps. The entire map has gotten and visual upgrade. The layout of the map has stayed the same, but the developers added details that make the map look fresh and new. With all the changes to the map, many of the old smoke lineups do not work anymore. However, there are already some great new smoke lineups making their way into the game. Therefore, we’ll take a look at some of the best smoke lineups on Inferno in CS2.
T-Side smoke lineups
Smoke is a vital part of any execute strategy in CS2 and for T-Side knowing smoke lineups can mean the difference between winning or losing the round. Here are some of the best lineups on the T-Side.
A Site Smokes
To start off, let’s see some of the best smokes for A site from the T-side. In this case, most of the smokes are thrown from Mid.
A-Short Smoke
On the Mid, go to a closed window across from the Stairs. Position yourself at the center of the window.
Aim between the antenna and street lamp, and left-click throw.
Smoke will land in front of A short.
A-Long Smoke
Using the same window as before, align yourself to the left-most part of the frame.
This time aim between the street lamp and the corner of the building, then left-click throw.
The Smoke will land between A Long and Boiler.
Library Smoke
To execute this smoke, position yourself in the corner next to the Boiler spot.
Aim at the line between two bricks, and jump-throw.
This smoke cuts off the library and can be used to rush B site from Arch.
Pit Smoke
We’re going back to Second Mid for this one. Stand next to the red corner, found near the Underpass entry.
Aim at the lower part of the letter L and jump-throw.
This smoke will cut off the Pit, and force the player that defends A site from there to relocate.
Truck Smoke
For this useful smoke, stand in the corner next to the picture in the Apps.
Aim at the far corner above the flower pot and left-click throw.
The smoke will land on the Truck and obscure you from defenders on site and in the Pit.
B Site Smokes
These Smokes will help you easily take the B site when playing as Terrorists.
CT Spawn from T Spawn
To smoke CT spawn from T spawn, first stand beside the barrel.
Aim slightly next to the building. Hold the button to walk, make two steps forward and jump-throw.
This will smoke away the CT Spawn.
CT Spawn from Banana
For this one, stand next to the barrels on Banana.
Aim at the beam connecting two buildings, you can use the roof corner of the tower to help you center. Then left-click throw.
This Smoke will cover CT spawn as well as the boost position.
Coffins Smoke
To smoke Coffins from Banana crouch in the corner next to the flower pot.
Continue crouching and aim at the second light. Still crouching, left-click throw.
This smoke will cover Coffins and if there is a defender with AWP he will have to relocate, making the site easier to take.

CT Smoke lineups
Luckily for them, there are only two main choke points that CTs need to protect at all times on Inferno. This makes their job easier, but it doesn’t mean that they get a great advantage on this map. Here are the best smokes on the CT side.
Banana Smoke from the Library
To do this smoke, stand in the corner between the bench and the wall in front of the Library near A site.
You will have to aim in the middle between the drain pipe and the green door, using the pipe above as a guide. When you are ready jump-throw.
The Smoke will land on the Banana next to the T Ramp, giving your teammates a considerable advantage.
Top of Banana from Construction
For this one, take the position in the corner right after you exit CT Spawn.
Aim at the top of the antenna, and left-click throw.
This smoke will land at the top of Banana closer to the B Site. This is a great smoke to stop enemies from rushing onto B Site.
T Ramp Smoke from CT Spawn
This last Smoke is a bit tricky, but with a little practice, it is easy to master. Stand next to the chair on CT Spawn.
In the middle between the roof and window, there is a white spot. You need to aim slightly above and to the right of that spot, as shown in the image below. When you’ve lined it up, do a jump-throw.
The Smoke will close off the T-ramp and your team can safely cross Mid or take Banana. This is a great Smoke but it takes a bit of practice to master.
