One such mission is initiated by Zarah, which requires you to seek out hidden treasures of sorts. Aptly called Fabled Treasure, this quest will take you to a couple of different locations to pocket the items you need. That said, the treasure doesn’t have an entirely fixed location, making the task a bit more difficult in practice. How to Do the Fabled Treasure Quest in Coral Island
As you become closer with Zarah, you’ll need to complete the Fabled Treasure quest. This will task you with acquiring clue pieces, which are found in the ocean and the Cavern on the northwestern edge of the island. Each is relatively easy to find, though the mission at hand can take varying amounts of time to complete since the items don’t have fixed locations.
Once you’ve found both pieces, you can take them back to Zarah. A cutscene will be triggered when you approach her house, signaling the completion of the quest.
First Clue Piece – Location
The first clue piece for the Fabled Treasure quest is found in the ocean. However, you can’t fish up this item with your fishing pole. Instead, you’ll need to don your diving gear and search beneath the water’s surface. From there, you’ll just need to sift through piles of trash and clear as many as it takes to pick up the clue.
While most players have reported that this task doesn’t take too long, others have said that it took them quite a while to stumble upon the clue. Because this item doesn’t appear in a specific place, you’ll just need to keep at it until you find what you need.
Second Clue Piece – Location
With the first clue piece in hand, you can start your search for the second. This will take you to the Cavern, which is located on the northwest side of the island. To find the second clue, just head instead and start mining away at stones. Again, the item doesn’t have an entirely fixed location, so there’s no specific place where you’re guaranteed to find it.
That said, many have stated that the second clue piece tends to pop up fairly quick. Just make sure you search the area well, whether you wind up in the water mine or another altogether.
Why Can’t I Give Zarah the Clue Pieces in Coral Island?
Once you’ve found both clue pieces during the Fabled Treasure quest in Coral Island, the items won’t need to be gifted back to Zarah. Rather, you’ll just need to meet her back at her house. This will trigger the appropriate cutscene, drawing an end to the quest.
If you enter her house and the scene doesn’t play, then you may be experiencing a recent bug. In this case, don’t resort to gifting Zarah the items you found, as the quest won’t update any further. Instead, save your progress and restart your game with the latest version installed, then head back to her house again.
