“Bless Them!” Fans Amazed by QoL Changes Season 2 Brought to The First Descendant
The fresh-out-of-the-oven Season 2 is chock-full of content. Even though the start was a bit messy, it brought a ton of new stuff, like the new Descendant Keelan (and Ines, but she’ll be available at a later date), Ultimate Sharen, Arche Fellows (or simply – doggos), new weapons, Modules, and a ton of changes, upgrades and fixes. On that last note, Nexon promised some great QoL changes for The First Descendant Season 2 and they really delivered.
So Many Awesome QoL Changes in The First Descendant Season 2
Right before the official release, Nexon revealed the Patch Notes for The First Descendant Season 2 Update 1.2.0. Among the various improvements, two are standing out and are getting all the praise from the TFD community.
Boosts in the Inventory
The first one is the change which allows you to store your Boosts in the inventory. Before this one, each time you “picked up” your Boosts from the Mailbox, they were automatically activated. So we all kept our extra Boosts in the mail and claimed them only when needed. Sure, it wasn’t a game-breaking issue, but basically everyone was annoyed with it.
And now, with Season 2, when you claim those Boosts in the mail, they are transferred to the Consumable section of your Inventory. There they are neatly arranged by type and duration, and you can then more clearly see how many you have, and pick and choose a Boost that you need more easily.

The fans are all very thankful for this change, with Meganclare7 starting a Reddit thread to share their thoughts on this change. “This is actually a really nice QoL! Now I can clean up my mailbox and move all the boosters I have collecting up there to consumables.” said Dealz_. Some even point out that this way the Boost can no longer expire in the mailbox.
Combine Modules by Batch
The other popular QoL change is the ability to combine your Modules in batches. No longer are you forced to painstakingly select every individual Module when wanting to clear up your collection and combine them into something better (hopefully). With a single click of a button, the game now automatically selects four duplicate Modules to be combined. Even better, if you hold the “Select All” button (B for PC users), the game will automatically select ALL duplicate Modules, allowing you to combine everything by batch, and then showing all the new Modules you created together.

Naturally, everyone liked this, and you get comments saying that this is a massive time-saver and a great QoL upgrade. “Gamechanger. Got 3/4 of new red mods in minutes.” said TimPhoeniX, and “Definitely one of the QoL improvements I’ve been looking forward to! Really saves up time” added crucifixzero.
Even though this update came with a bunch of issues, changes like this make it all worthwhile. Another good job by Nexon.
