Can You Remove Your Mask in Payday 3?
At the time of writing, there’s currently no way to take off your mask once you’ve put it on in Payday 3. Depending on your preferred playstyle, this may not be a bad thing. Donning your mask preserves your identity as you and your teammates execute an active heist. Both newcomers and longtime players know that maintaining some semblance of stealth is a key component as you sneak around, collect keycards, and successfully fulfill your goals.
That aside, many players find the thought of leaving your mark on a mission exhilarating. Removing your mask could potentially allow you to achieve this feeling while compromising detection. This feature isn’t currently available in Payday 3, but there is hope that we could see it added with a new patch from Deep Silver and Starbreeze Studios somewhere down the line. For the time being, there’s no workaround.
How to Remove Your Mask in Payday 3
You can’t remove your mask once you’re wearing it in Payday 3. Completing the mission at hand is the only way to take off this accessory. Just be prepared to plan your next move appropriately, as donning your mask during a heist does hold significance in the game. Once your mask is on, you’ve effectively places a target on your back. As they say, the only way out is through.
