Ubisoft quickly deletes a harmless tweet in fear of damaging relations with Nitnendo.

The other problem here is, that they make such statements, a few days after announcing they think every Wii U owner is some stupid child who only plays Just Dance. Hmm... maybe it is because the Just Dance games are not gimped and get full support by Ubi, just a thought^^

Some might say, why make a big deal out of everything somebody says about Ninty, the thing is, everybody makes a big deal for every shit Ninty does, doesnt matter how unimportant. What some people don't get is that companies are not one person's opinion, and all communications sent out must be reviewed to align them with company policy, mission and vision.

This one guy writing this is a narcissist if he thinks his personal opinion is so important that a company should back it. There's no room for personal opinions from company communications.

What I don't get is why Nintendo would even do this with Mercedes... does anyone here know their target markets are complete opposites? Mercedes target market is really old people, that makes up the vast majority of Merc owners when they review their company data. Nintendo's market is mostly young people, certainly no one who is in the market for an expensive brand new Mercedes. This is a completely retarded move by both companies.

Ubisoft knows people are watching them carefully. I don't agree that we should have to worry about who will get offended over the tiniest little things, but I also don't think they have any room to talk about losing the magic. Not to mention the DLC is free. Someone needs to go to Ubisoft and talk to them about sellouts and milking games to death. Then say "don't lose the magic" at the end. Not that they had the magic to begin with IMO. Where the hell is the next Rainbow 6 game?!

Its ONE car that was announced MONTHS ago as a marketing deal in Japan Mercedes has their new SUV turned into a Kart and they had Mario driving one in a commercial. Actually it's 3* and I don't fully agree, though I also don't fully disagree. I agree that it is trivial and probably not worth caring about, but at the same time I can understand disliking such blatant product placement in a game too. This stuff can be a slippery slope and I don't think people would be thrilled if Nintendo made it a habit of filling their games with ads for other companies.

With how much they are starting to sell software and Nintendo is making profit on Wii Us now and 3ds is outselling everything and they have several huge titles coming up with massive amounts of preorders I find it hard to believe Nintendo can hear Ubisoft through all that money that is starting to pile up on them. Ubisoft is just trying to drag Nintendo down because, despite Ubisoft bashing the Wii u and pulling their support for the wii U, Nintendo is actually doing better without Ubisoft games to buy. It is just sour grapes because Ubisoft looks like the kid that picked up his ball and went home because he sucks. Ubisoft is an immature and unprofessional company. I do not buy their games on any platform anymore and know a lot of people who do the same and or are talking about it. Ubisoft is the reason their sub par unsuppoeted ports failed on Wii U. Lately it just seems like Ubisoft is lashing out because they wanted Nintendo to fail and validate their decision to not support Wii U anymore. Instead Nintendo is selling more systems than ever and proving that their system has the install base needed to succeed. But if Ubisoft wants to loose even more money and release their games for XB1 instead, a system selling less globally than Wii U right now, then they can go right ahead. Ubisoft will be the next Rare. Just watch. From riches to ditches by the end of this gen.
