Wow the amount of effort that has been put into this remaster is amazing. Fully redone cut scenes, higher res and framerate, new textures, almost 100 maps, 4 SP campaigns, h2 original MP, remastered and original halo maps, swap between original and upgraded visuals instantly, ded servers, etc, etc, etc. I hope other remasters follow suit in the future.

It is CGI, so not exactly the same, however to see this level of polish in an already jam packed package at only 60$ ... I am more than impressed. Cannot wait to relive the campaign story with this level of detail though, CGI or not.

EDIT: @kayant already here to downplay something you have no interest in? How surprising... at least you stopped playing the "unbiased bystander" role. Those level of visuals take A LOT of time and effort and show the dedication the team and blur have to this remake,(regardless of CGI or in engine) to just simpmy say, "psh it's just CGI" is silly.

Dude pretty much all games get their hype from CGI trailers, and rarely do they look or play close to it. I still dream of a halo, hell a shooter, that plays as intense as the ODST live action trailer. That being said, while I know H2 won't look as good as this trailer, it is possible that H5 will be pretty damn close. I think this is 343s way of giving us a glimpse into what we can expect, because if you recall, all previous halo games have used the in game engine for their cinematics. I don't see them taking a step backwards after what they've shown, so it should be at least somewhat similar since it's built from the ground up for XB1. It is possible, look at Uncharted 4s trailer that's made in the in game engine, looks amazing (yes yes we know the ps4 is more a bit more powerful, moving on). Have some faith, give it time and watch to see what happens. Though I personally can't wait for this, H5, and Nightfall.

They did halo ce's remaster on the 360. They won't be upgrading the graphics per say but will be making it 1080p and 60fps as well as keeping the original halo ce's multiplayer which they used reaches multiplayer in the halo ce's anniversary. The only reason they are remastering halo 2 is because it's the 10 year anniversary.

I'm more hyped for this than TLOUR, but don't say there are only small differences. TLOUR has made massive upgrades just like Halo 2 has. If I were an XB1 fanboy, I really wouldn't be talking about graphics right now.

This is part of learning when to speak and when to shut up. XB1 is behind in sales and graphics right now. That's not an opinion, that's a fact.
