Syfy is preparing for the release of Sharknado 2: The Second One on July 30th, and in a fit of a transmedia reach, Syfy has partnered with The Asylum, Majesco, and Other Ocean to release a video game based on the property. Sharknado: The Video Game is biting into a release on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, with a launch date promised ahead of the July 30th release of the new movie.
Veflow from 3rd-strike writes:
"Sharknado: The Game takes on a successful gameplay-formula but fails at the execution. While certain elements of the game are great, like the fair micro-transaction system and the setting, other elements ruin that experience. A repeating round system and poor optimization are deal-breakers."
Sharknado: The Video Game is so bad that you already knew it was going to be bad before reading anything else about it. It is preemptively bad, which is sort of amazing when you think about it
Considering games are 99% of the time worse than the movie theyre based on, and that the movie had CGI worse looking than an N64 game, I dont think anyone is expecting too much from this.
TPP:" Just as promised earlier this month, Sharknado: The Video Game is now available on the App Store."
why ask why I guess
