Too soon for that one. Maybe next year

BLizardXD2847d ago

what about KH3, too soon for that as well?

bouzebbal2847d ago

I'm more interested in their TGS lineup

ninsigma2847d ago

I'm gonna say it'll be at psx this year. Their main focus right now is ff15 so until that releases they don't wanna take away from it by distracting with another massive ff game. I'm there with ya though. Really wanna see more of it! :D

Alexious2847d ago

Yeah, as someone who never played FF7 I'm really eager to see it remade with modern standards.

ninsigma2847d ago

I recommend playing the original as well. It's a great game and is probably my favorite of all time. Great characters, great story/setting and great combat system. Bad translations though xD

Satou2847d ago

FFVIIR is going to be the shit! Those graphics were beyond belief and really reflected reality and the old style. Framerate was a bit short but I'm sure it'll be 30fps by time it launches, especially with how far FFXV has progressed from 900p20 to 1080p30 now... Now I'm sure they'll optimize FFVIIR by release. I really wish they'd upgrade the graphics further for PS4-Neo though. I don't care about the 60fps... IMO 60fps will take away from the cinematic aspect of this game. Give me silky smooth 30fps and graphics! If the approach is rooms or something, use the extra ram on PS4-Neo to preload them for no waiting.

Martin your wish will likely be granted seeing as how the Neo is apparently utilizing the same bottlenecked CPU but with more GPU grunt.

Why remake something that has already achieved perfection?

ccgr2847d ago

Looking forward to DEUS EX: Mankind Divided and Kingdom Hearts, need to catch up on Final Fantasy too only played up to VIII

Alexious2847d ago

Well, you don't really need to have played them all. Each one is a completely separate story and world, that's the franchise peculiarity.

Cyb3r2847d ago (Edited 2847d ago )

@Alexious You mentioned you never payed FF7 in my opinion FF7 is the best JRPG ever made it is the only JRPG that made me feel sadness towards some of the things that happened within the story not many games I can think of have a story as good as it. The only other game I can think of that had a story as good was The Last of Us.

ccgr2847d ago

I know but I want to grind through the older graphics before getting spoiled by the eye candy ;)

Kingthrash3602846d ago

I rarely replay a game over and over, deus ex was one of them.
I've avoided gameplay footage of the game after I saw the reveal trailer...I plan to fully enjoy it like a Virgin lol.

Garethvk2847d ago

Looks like more than they had at E3.

KaiPow2847d ago

They're definitely showing off more of The Collective. That stuff wasn't at E3.

Alexious2847d ago

The Turing Test is the one I'm interested in among those. Very intriguing premise

Cybermario2847d ago

looks good, looking forward these games!

Frisky2847d ago

Biggest lineups, not much quality games.

starchild2847d ago

Depends on one's taste. I like a lot of their games.

There won't be no more acquiring game publishers from Microsoft in the future . Xbox has to pay Microsoft back. It might take two decades to do that.

jwillj2k41h ago

There really needs to be a class action lawsuit here. You buy these companies just to put people out of jobs. And it’s not like something happened to derail their plans this WAS the plan. Microsoft has no business in this space at all.

franwex1h ago(Edited 1h ago)

Microsoft has been doing this for years. They simply want the IPs. Look at Nokia. Look at Skype. This time it simply expanded to games. Gaming is not as important to Microsoft’s executives as it was to the founders too. Bill Gates was willing to sell the og Xbox at a loss. Steve Balmer approved the red ring of death fiasco. This CEO isn’t really a gamer.

-Foxtrot37m ago

Maybe it's time though to put a stop to it and use a big giant like Microsoft as a huge example to the rest of these big companies.

There has to be a line drawn somewhere.

People like the FTC and the like went against Microsoft yet their Actvision deal was still allowed to go through yet look what's happened...it's not even Acitivisions studios aswell, it's Bethesdas.

RNTody1h ago

Ninja Theory, Perfect Dark, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Wolfenstein 3, Dishonored, Prey, Doom, Quake... something tells me that bad things are going to happen to these entities under Microsoft.

anast27m ago

Good thing the bosses of all those small studios made their money.
