Red Dead Redemption & Bioshock Infinite was put on sale this week, surely they wouldn't have them on sale for 75% off and then give them away the following week?

Thats a really solid line up. The Crew and Goat Sim are two games I wanted to play but didn't want to pay for....now I will enjoy. Also soooooo happy to see Xcom coming to BC.

I am not saying its an all star line up but for me I like these services to give me games that I likely didnt buy or maybe passed on for one reason or another. I don't want big AAA games like a Forza 5 or Halo MC to be offered...why? because its likely I bought those games and played them. I want the fringe games that got my attention but fell short of me saying I will pay for them when they came out. The Crew and Goat Sim are 100% those games for me. And Xcom is just a fun game I can always go back to happily will add since i had it on disc back when i had my 360.

I'll give The Crew a go. Goat Simulator came bundled with my console, downloaded it and played it briefly before swiftly deleting it. I'm sure some people will have fun with it, but it wasn't a game for me. I got Super Meat Boy with PS+ so I won't download that again, but I might give Xcom a go.

I would suggest you buy one of those car packs tho as they give you the cars for free and save you a long grind for decent cars. The Game makes it difficult to get good money

I got PSN plus because I was going to buy the Ico/SoTC collection and another game, found out I could get them for free and a discount for another game and the price was actually lower then what I was going to be the collection for on Amazon. Got PSN Plus and was like "Why on earthy was I NOT considering this thing?".

Sucks too because the previous year, I got like 2 used games that where both free for PSN Plus, which actually cost more money then PSN Plus....

My fault too. Would have been cool if they had some sort of vault system where you could get those past games for free, but no publisher could afford such a thing.

You get a quality AAA title in the Crew and another AAA BC title in Xcom. The other 2 indie type titles are for indie fans. MS have to cater to all type of gamers, and not just one type. Like your diet, you gotta have a balance intake of fruits, veggies, proteins, and starch.

I would rather get 2 quality AAA Xbox One titles. Goat Simulator is a joke and a not very funny one at that. Out of all the titles to pick who the hell at MS front office thought that title would be appealing to their gamers.

I don't expect every month to be a title to blow me out the water but I do expect titles that are at least somewhat interesting and appealing.

Goat simulator is a joke but the other games are great. I loved supermeat boy beat that game was pretty challenging. I was always interested in the crew but never bought it. And I always wanted to try xcom I'm glad that's free this month.

This legit pisses me off. I know, these games are free, but does Microsoft SERIOUSLY think that putting a piece of trash game like Goat Simulator is gonna one up Sony? News Flash: It won't. That is such an awful choice for this. The Crew, that one is decent I guess, at least it isn't a game that is intentionally awful and boring. I already have it though.

Having Goat Simulator as one of the games really makes me disappointed in MS on this.

Look, Goat Simulator is just a stupid game to goof off with physics based stuff.

It's not meant to eat up 100 hours of your time, you just run around and do silly stuff, maybe find some secret stuff, and that's about it.

It's a great game to sit down and pass the controller to a buddy, have a few beers, and laugh about how stupid it is.

It's not the next Uncharted or Gears of War, and that's ok. Besides, it's effing free.

What is there to be pissed about, really? I've been an Xbox Live Gold member for almost 14 years. Free games weren't even a thing for the vast majority of that time, and since they have been a thing, there have only been about 2 or 3 of them that I didn't already own and actually wanted to play. Yeah I would have never bought the crew or goat sim but I will give them a try. I already own SMB and xcom but it will be nice to have on the new console. That's the only reason my PS3 was still plugged in.
