AOTF:
The Xbox One certainly did not get things off on the right foot this generation with a debacle of a reveal and follow-up that turned many gamers off of the Xbox brand completely. Microsoft was able to make a 180 and did away with what everyone hated and managed to win many gamers back luckily. This partially led the system to lag behind the PlayStation 4 in sales almost every month and by a far margin overall, but Microsoft was able to pull out a surprising win in April in the recent NPD announcement. With an already strong holiday lineup even before the upcoming E3 announcements, is Microsoft setting themselves up to take down the goliath that is PlayStation 4 this coming holiday season?

Fortnite fans are begging for the return of OG mode while using the player count as proof that fans are not happy with the game's direction.
The studio behind the popular Thief Simulator 2 has announced its next project, Crime Simulator, for PC and consoles.
Who cares if it sells more or not. I just want new great games.
I think in the US MS is going to start gaining a lot more ground on Sony but catching up WORLDWIDE is the problem as XB1 doesn't sell that well outside of the US and UK but if MS can do better outside of these territories, well I'm sure Sony would welcome the competition as that's what makes the gaming business thrive
Wait.
Sales matter again?
I need some heavy equipment so I can get in to be goalpost relocation business. ;)
As far as games offered? Yes, I can't wait to play Halo 5 and ROTR! Just doesn't seem like the PS4 has any major AAA games for the fall right now. Maybe e3 will change that but I doubt it.
In sales? No, WW is what matters and I can't see X1 winning worldwide. The PS4 is just a beast and I don't see it slowing down. People should also remember it's the big third party games that sell consoles and Sony is doing a good job getting partnership deals with these big third part games this fall.
Who knows? Who cares? I'll be busy playing games, not sales.
