Looks fantastic so far, I have a feeling things are going to change with this game in terms of that monthly release bs, at least I hope

Brotard3163d ago

Wow looks incredible, lets just hope they have enough scenarios to stay busy!

DarkOcelet3163d ago

The lighting looks amazing. And the visuals looks very beautiful. Hitman is back!

NPCs and character models need work. Saw a lot of the same looking women at the start, the one with the pony tail.

Hitman games need to drop the idiotic bullshit where they give the player dozens of cool way to murder people, then give you negative points for doing so.

LOGICWINS3163d ago

It looks like they did. I didn't see any deduction of points when killing non-target NPCs. That was one of the two major issues I had with Absolution. That and the fact that disguises were pointless since everyone who shared you're clothing could spot you as a fake. They also fixed this with the Enforcer system.

The game seems like its coming along nicely.

That's the thing though, with Hitman it's been that way since I can remember. If you killed everyone in past Hitman games (Before Absolution) you would get certain ratings. It's similar in a way that you may not have gotten penalized, but the main objective was to take out the targets and secretly get away. But you're free to go it any route you take, but killing a ton of people will get you a murderer rating or something along those lines.

It’s the 25th anniversary this year?

I’d have assumed it would have gotten something like a remastered trilogy of the original games or a remake of the first game. Something for a 25th celebration.

Super lacklustre

A Deep Dive On all Things Hitman With The Voices Behind Agent 47 And Diana Burnwood

From PSU: "Ten years ago, the Hitman franchise was in a transitory state. Blood Money had become something of a classic and with Hitman Absolution there was a clear decision to push IO Interactive’s assassination sim series to a whole new level. That experimental, often divisive, entry turned out to be pivotal in what would follow.

Elements of Absolution, such as its accessibility and player-created content, would be mixed with the more traditional Hitman games’ sense of murderous creativity to birth the Hitman Trilogy 0f 2016-2021. A series that would take its creators on a turbulent journey of publisher changes, independence, and the eventual triumph of being handed the tantalizing 007 license."
