Review: Alien Isolation Treads A Fine Line Between Masterpiece And Disaster [EGMR]

EGMR writes: "Alien Isolation deserves respect and credit for its ambition in a starved genre as far as triple A is concerned. When it all comes together it's a near masterpiece in horror, but when its mechanics work against it, it can stumble into disaster territory. While the overall quality of the game is brought down by numerous flaws, in the end it's got just as much going right for it and is an easy recommendation to fans of Aliens and horror nuts. It's a great tribute to the source material, and it's an admirable effort as a damn fine, but flawed, gem."

tbh it doesn’t need a sequel. Fantastic game but not something to make into a long running series.

Good month imo. I'll play Gotham Knights and House of Ashes. I'm finishing up Disco E on Steam right now - that's a superb game.
