Remember when all those gaming journalist and Analysis told everyone that PC gaming was dying?

eagle212653d ago

Sure do. I hear more gamers talking about building PC's for gaming than even 5 years ago.

Pc gaming is thriving now if anything.

Best indie games and so many of them. You also have Crackdown 3 and halo 6 coming to it...awesome

Seeing star citizen and Kingdom Come Deliverance, we are seeing a come back in big titles too for pc.

Yes it's been 16 odd years since those comments/articles and it's still thriving.

Excellent news PC gaming is fantastic I know I've enjoyed it for the last 25 years and it's funny because people always say it's dying but it only seems to be getting stronger year after year

"Bbbbbut Pc is dying, Windows PC sales has been declining while tablets and smartphones have increased."
- Mainstream media

Me: Uhm, okay well a pc can be sold and build from parts, Windows OS's can be bought seperately from a bundle of hardware and Linux is free. Really I think the most accurate way to measure PC's success is getting numbers from manufacturers on how many units they have made/shipped of X hardware. Mobo's, CPU's etc.
Not how many Lenovos and Dells that have been sold at wallmart. lol.
