the series is dropping in quality with each release, and i'm a huge fan of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. The atmosphere and level design are just downgrading.

i'm enjoying dark souls 2, but it lacks the "soul" of both the previous games. The atmosphere in Demon's Souls was amazing and Dark Souls 1 almost matched it but not quite. Dark Souls 2 on the other hand isn't very inspired at all, and the lack of complexity in the map design also hurts it. But like i said, it still manages to be enjoyable.
just so happens that if you buy a wii u right now you have tons of games to play.
if i buy a ps4 right now, i might as well leave it in the box till...whenever this years e3 announcements are released if they are even worth having.

nintendo actually knows how to code well. most western developers are mediocre at coding and thats why their games are so choppy and require more hardware power than should be necessary.
yeah rage was a huge install as well. i hope this game is good, it'd be nice to have a really good shooter on this engine
@towelboy. the best thing about going to other sites like pcgamer, dualshockers, ign, is that there is a larger percentage of actual news, rather than occasional news buried in fanboy hate articles. so while you might not see something for a few hours, it certainly is refreshing to not have to scroll through all the BS to see it and refreshing to see differing opinions and fans from all three companies rather than one.
titanfall DLC and mario kart 8 make for a good month of gaming and even into june
