I loved Bad Company and BC:2 even more! to me it was all about the destruction, by the end of the match almost everything was rubble, barely any structures standing.
Besides Levolution, the newer games don't have as much destruction.
Im personally torn on this game. I actually enjoy the game, i think when the final game ships i will enjoy it more than i do battlefield 4. but at the same time i agree that its kinda messed up to charge $60, but at the same time again, why should they start from scratch when they can take all the good things from battlefield 4 and just add more stuff.
I hope that they just use what is good from battlefield 4 and use that extra time to develop more content from the multiplaye...
yes mostly everything shot in 24fps has a shutter speed of 1/48th of a second. Which gives movement a slight motion blur, not much but it makes motion look so silky smooth.
As a filmmaker I love the cinematic "LOOK" of 24fps, but as a gamer I love the responsive "FEEL" of 60fps.
It all depends on the games, if its a competitive game 60fps will give you an advantage. in a story driven game 30fps is fine and you can make the game look better.
It would be a cool experiment to see something like The Order 1886 run in a locked in 24fps, not solid, LOCKED, just to give it that film look.
I think its funny how people are mad about this PS4 release.
If this was Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 or The Last of Us for PS4 everybody would be saying thank you for bringing those games to the PS4.
I personally bought this game for the PS3 and plan to buy it again for the PS4. Why? because I've played the crap out of the launch games and I enjoyed TR on the PS3.
Plus I get to try all the DLC that I didn't buy on the PS3. Would it be ...

I like using L1 & R1 to aim and shoot because I like to use my index fingers for those and my middle finger for R2 & L2.
Now I have to take my finger off the trigger to use the L1 & R1 buttons.
How can this even be considered gameplay? I'm pretty sure they could have made the prelude work on an iPad

I have to disagree because people who bought GT4 and GT5 have only paid $120 (assuming each game cost $60)
and people who bought all four Forza games end up paying $240.
you know what at first I was pissed that this game is taking so long and now they are going to make us wait even longer but now that I think of it this just might be what FFXIV needs.
I would rather wait a year and get an awesome game (which it should've been in the first place) then get it now and wish that they did something awesome.

As much as I would LOVE absolutely LOVE! a FFVII Remake/Remix/Remaster, people need to stop asking why they are making FFX instead of FFVII.
There are two obvious answers here,
1) FFX is a PS2 game and FFVII is a PS1 game.
It would take sooooo much more man power to update FFVII to todays visual standards, where as FFX still actually looks pretty good, with a little tweaking here and there and bam! you got a hot seller on your hands.

I absolutely had to read the instruction manual before I played the game, back in the PS1 and PS2 days, when you could read about the story, characters, weapons, combat, you could also look at some nice art. I would always read it on the way home from the store so right when I got home I could just pop in the disc and play.
nowadays the instruction manuals suck, most of them are black and white and only show you what buttons are mapped to.

I've played alot of COD and BFBC this generation and BFBC2 is by far the best FPS so far. If BF3 is just an upgraded BFBC2 I would be super happy and dump 250+ hours into it.
