Can you tell me why the xbox360 is more next gen than the PS3 or Wii?
I don't know why everyone cares so much about the 360. The real competition for the PS3 is the Wii. The 360 is only a Xbox with better graphics and CPU power is like when somebody upgrades his PC. The PS3 come with true next gen components like HDMI and Blue-Ray and the Wii the amazing new control.
The PS3 will outsell the 360 late this year(NPD last info show a diference 54 000 units sold the last month between the 360 and the PS3) The real problem for sony will be the Wii. 4 ...
Emulators can be a lot better than the native hardware. Check epsxe the PS1 emulator it's maybe 20x better than the original PS1 or gameboy, gba, emulators you can play GBA games at resolutions of 1280x1024 or more.
About the PS2 emulator they have done a lot of improvements with the introduction of dual core CPU's. And who's is the best to make a PS2 emulator: SONY they know how make the perfect emulator for the PS2 and PS1
Don't be so negative about this.
I don't know if Sony will use software emulation but if that's the case check this.
Good:
- Software emulation allow and add a lot of improvements for the games
(Check the PS1 emulator epsxe, I play the PS1 games at 1600x1200 of resolution and a lot of cool thing, 20 times better than the PS1 hardware maybe)
- Savestates(Save the game wher you want)
- When the PS3 is running a PS2 or PS1 game the Cell...
