If you knew ANYTHING about Carmack, you'd know that the only beef he's ever had with them was about DirectX and OpenGL. He's not a fan of multi-core processors or fancy coding, and he has repeatedly gave the 360 props in the past. But he predicted it almost 3 years ago, DVD is going to hold back the 360, and in this case he can clearly see that a larger media is the way to go to see his vision through. And to the person who said "learn to compress better&qu...
Yes, i do hate sources that like 360 better. But they shouldn't like EITHER ONE better than the other. It's called being objective, something no one in the gaming industry can seem to do.
Its supposedly a pretty awesome game now taht they've tightened it up.
I'd be embarassed no matter what race I was to look like that douche...
Actually the Halo engine was first shown off at a Macworld expo if I'm not mistaken, so it would have been a huge step forward for Mac gaming. MS snuffed that out quickly enough, though...
Yeah, retard, you can buy A cat, but you can never go and re-buy YOUR dead cat again. For the majority of goods in a home, however, you can go and replace $25,000 worth of crap with other crap that is exactly the same. Some people consider their pets to be members of the family, you can't replace those. And you're completely missing the point; destroying material goods makes you much less of a monster than destroying a living thing. Doing sh!t like this is one of the most telling signs of a f...
Banned from videogames? Seriously? When was the last time you microwaved a cat in a videogame? They should be banned from life, via a bullet to the skull, because one day these idiots will breed, which is something no one needs.
Honestly, who didn't see this coming? Offset is an incredibly impressive engine, and the team behind it are some of the best in the field. Reading their tech documents on their website is very enlightening as a 3D artist. When I heard that Intel had bought them out, I knew they had something like this planned.
Lmao, what he looks like is Blanka from SF movie
It wasnt actually using a GPU to fire the paintballs, it was an allegory. CPU draws one pixel at a time. GPU draws the entire screen in a "single shot". Get it?

Enjoy feeling retarded
It'd be interesting to do a social experiment in which 360 hardware was placed into a PS3 and vice versa, and then play the same game on both and see which version people say looks better.
lawlz conspiracy theory. Why are "internet" and "digitally transmitted information" different categories again? That's like saying step one was carrots, step two was apples, and step three will be more apples!
Sounds MUCH improved over the other versions. Glad I waited.
True, but the thing about 4 is that it wasn't originally meant to be a SH game. It wasn't decided until 70% into the dev cycle that it would be. And Origins wasn't that bad. Honestly, I think SH is salvageable, but they need to go back to the roots. Keep the number of characters in the single digits and make the story revolve around something that isn't generally regarded to be morally acceptable. The twists in the first three could really knock you on your ass, and the clunky controls added ...
Facial animation is intense. They really got it right. Now... the body! Get working Image Metrics.
lol, give The Collective a chance, so far the only thing that disappoints me about Homecoming is the user-controlled camera. If they throw in some of those creepy unmovable camera angles at some point though, I'll be happy.
I so desperately wish that the new Silent Hill was using this engine...
I really hate how much Europe loves Singstar... they make it take up valuable time from these conferences.
I love how people think DLC is a good thing. It's just a way to get nickeled and dimed by the industry, ESPECIALLY when DLC is announced before the game comes out. There is no reason at all to not just put it on the original disc other than to charge for it later.
