Yes it did. And I am one of the millions to blame. I couldn't help it. My brother and friends who are casual gamers bought the game so I had too. They don't care about any of the issues we mention here. They just wanna shoot. I just want to play along their side.
I was 13 when I received my first Playstation for Christmas. I remember wanting the Sega Saturn but they were sold out so my parents got me a Playstation instead. Glad they did.

Maybe the controller is worth $100 but the console, with dated internals, is about $200. So $300 is not so unreasonable. My guess is $349.

The tv you mentioned is a plasma, hence the "P" in P46U20G. Panasonic LCD tvs have an "L" in the model # not a "P", like "TC-L42U25".

@GameSpawn If you read the article the author states that he ran each game/start-up 5 times so that the SSHD holds the appropriate files in the SSD portion. So I think his SSHD vs Stock was a good comparison.
