Yeah, so just as I had imagined, I garnered some angry responses and put downs, but none have addressed the issue at hand.
Fact is, you can buy the Ps4 right now. Brand new. Unopened. For exactly the SAME price that 3+ million paid for an XBO in late November and December.
Why are the $500 PS4's sitting on the amazon shelves? Why are gamers not buying them? Is the higher price that much of a detractor?

gotta agree with you there, lukas, about quality of indie games on consoles.
I encountered a similar situation with those sorts of games on the ps3. I got tired of wading through yet another shovelware indie/arcade on the ps3 and getting slugged extra for add on packs.
It was horrible and was one thing that really turned me off the ps3.
In the end I only played HD stardust and Savage Moon on ps3 because the other 'arcadey' titles on P...

Not sure it looks the most boring, but it is a very worrying sign that Sny captures screens and then has to censor it's own screencaps.
Couple of things could be the reason:
- screen capture on ps4 is not that great and portrays the game in a bad light OR
- the game just doesn't look that good.
I believe that even the WiiU can do 1080p screen caps, so why are these ps4 screencaps so bad that they need to be censored?

LOL your post makes absolutely no sense at all.
Sony has stated that they remain the cumulative sales leader for Nov+dec in NA.
Also, Sony was only barely outsold in December, which would mean that the 1 for 1 attach rate would not make a big difference to games sold for ps4 and xbo in dec.

well, it's like this. Most people on here are ps4 fanboys. They were expecting the ps4 to wipe the floor, but so far the ps4 games have been underwhelming and the competition has better games.
Also, the xbo is $100 more expensive, but has outsold the ps4 in NA.
As a result, those people have become very ANGRY FANBOYS.

Sony has pulled the most amazing stunt on the fanboys. They have done very little for innovation. All they have done is rehash their well established console formula and added some pixels via improved GPU and CPU.
