I understand what you're saying but I don't like it. I'd hate to pre order someting and receive it a month after release because they "sold" more of the item than they planned to have at launch.
My opinion is, they should only have 1 pre order available for every 1 item that is planned to be available at launch or shortly thereafter.
What if they took 1 million pre orders and only planned to get 100,000. what about the other 900,000 ...
It's not forced. Why would you think it's forced?
Did I miss something?
You could play your PS3 on your Phone over mobile data?! wow that must have been really revolutionary at the time /s
You should have researched the game before buying. That's totally on you. It's like buying destiny and them complaining you can't play without being online.
@Computersaysno
My Xbox is on instant on mode, downloads updates automatically when i'm at work. Warzone's huge updates are already done when I get home.
My friend on PC needs to start the download when he gets home every time.
In this instance, console is easier and more convenient than PC.
They let you know what is leaving with plenty of warning and you get a discount on buying the game if you want to keep playing. I think it's either 10% or 20% i'm not sure.
Did you honestly expect anything else?
This was released in Japan on PS4 in January this year.
edit: nothing to see here

I'm not sure of the intention of your comment. But yes I don't believe most PC will be able to do that. You would need serious specs to run all three of those games at the same time.
I don't think PC's can store an instance game in a partition of the SSD for quick resume. You would probably be running all three at the same time. The RAM requirements would be huge.
It is not confirmed that an such deal has taken place. Could be, but there is no confirmation.
Please note that your save game will not transfer over
Physical is confirmed to also upgrade
I just realised, it's probably on purpose. They know people will buy the new consoles on launch anyway and go out with a bang when the want to entice the last people who still haven't gotten one yet.
Because it's 3rd party an also on PC
OK now take out 3rd party games
For me; if its not out in 2020 it's not launch window. and even that is stretching it.
LOL, didn't see that twist coming at all.
Strange that the picture above is showing the Xbox interface.
