EA may think that Call of Duty is "tired" and should take a year off, but Activision certainly plans to hold nothing back. A day after the game's first trailer was unveiled during the NBA playoffs, the public relations team has gone into overdrive, promoting Black Ops II as the greatest game since... well, last year's Call of Duty of course.

"I'll believe it when i see it."

I think we can just call BS now...before we see it

We've been through the same thing for 5 years now...I think we can safely assume that they are talking a load of BS to try and keep COD relevent. Remeber last year with MW3 when they were saying how it's one of the most "cinematic" games ever which came across pretty obvious that they were just saying that since they knew how popular Uncharted become with it's cinematic story telling.

The only difference in this COD is the new setting, which actually seems to be giving some people the strange impression that "this time might be differen't". <sigh>

Activision is already starting the hyperball BS they do every year with a COD release!Im not falling on it but i know who will!

Reborn4377d ago

Do people expect them to say "yes, it is tired".

Of course they won't. It's their product, one which gains them profit each year. Until it does poorly in sales, don't expect much changes.

Activision always says the same thing every year, "its going to be different" but its always the same bs.

Look, to be honest the FTC should just stop.

MS has A/B and nothing has really changed yet...if you are worried about 5-10 years from now...just drop it cause the future is unpredictable.

Take this week's news, that 4 Xbox exclusive are going Multiplatform.
