Take a Look at the PS Vita Intro Sequenz on the first Start-Up of of the Handheld.
I wonder where they got the memory to store that video
You mean like the OS and interface in every other system? including the ones with no usable internal memory?
So the next thing up is elevator videos? The music wasnt bad enough?
The UI looks really refined, maybe not the greatest but not bad, not bad at all.
I like how the PS logo on the Vita is lit up when it's on.
I went to my local EBGames today to ask if they had any news on the PSV kiosks coming to the store. Dude's like "no sorry man, but we just got ours from head office if you want to see...". Basically EBGames/Gamespot send all their employees one and he brought it out from the back. Now I know I'm being a cranky little b*tch about the PSOne classics still not being supported, but man, I'm sold on this thing. Its really nice, light, screen is Kapow! The UI is blazing fast even with Uncharted running in the background. I'm impressed.
Not all GameStops have one.
The Head office didn't send the employees one for free(Not that you have mentioned it, just stating it). They must have gotten the first batch of shipments in for the FE bundle and he showed you one from the box, that he paid for before hand, seeing as how we can't open a system that is not ours. I have done the same thing except I take mine home and back to work everyday. I have the Vita displayed and the trigger grips around mine, so the customer that wants to try it out can get the fell of both the system without the grips and with it.
there was a nice psp vita/sony tablet kiosk in my local mall. must say the machine is light... but uncharted was quite amazing.... feels like uncharted 1 in your hands.
yeah that pretty much sums up what i thought when i played Uncharted on the Vita. i can see them eventually equalling Uncharted 2 on the Vita, but i reckon uncharted 3 will be out of the question... but HELL, who the friggin hell cares!!! this thing is an incredible piece of kit
Too bad it does not do full 720p .... wonder why sony went the lower res route with a quad core processor.
I'm pretty sure the Vita does do 720p. Seeming as how the psp could do 720i I think? Also, resolution doesn't exactly matter when your screen isn't huge. Believe me it looks amazing in your hands.
@ the disagres " The Vita packs in a resolution of 960 x 544 on its 5 inch oled screen" 720p is 1280x720..... something the Samsung Galaxy Nexus does right now
Having already played around the PS Vita, I can safely say that it is one absolutely amazing piece of tech. For anyone on the fence, it is so much better when it is in your hands. Again, it really is an impressive device.
that's a long ass intro i hope we can skip it somehow.
That's just the initial intro, it's not like you're going to see it every time you boot up the Vita.
I read some article about the vita screen being too big for typing but I got one in my hands and my thumbs could reach the center of the screen just fine.. That machine is beast
OMG WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!! Not doing anything else that day :)
Same here. I actually took the day off work just so I could play it. Wife will be at work and kids will be at school so it's just me and the VIta. :D
Someone confirm me if that is an intro? If it is, hope it is an one off or there is an option to turn that off.... I need to check it out at my local GAME store. My brother tried it and was amazed
@ MaximusPrime You'll only see the intro when you turn your Vita on for the first time or if you do a factory reset.
Cheers. Thought that might be the case. The title is slightly misleading. "first start up" as in the only startup intro when you start PSV for first time Or "first start up" as in first video of a start up on N4G.. Anyway, just over a week to goooo!
That video was a waste of a minute. The article made it seem like you'd see the startup intro as the Vita powers up for the first time. Lame.
thats exactly what it was bud
