Urgh....why add a soundtrack

I understand limited editions doing this, or maybe even CE which aren't that expensive but if your asking people to fork out a lot for a CE least give us more collectables....not something we'll find on Youtube or Isohunt in like a week. I mean are they even making a Max Payne 3 theme for this game, they had the choice to show this off in the trailer but instead reused MP2s theme. Oh and look at that multiplayer DLC....COME ON ROCKSTAR your the last person who would go down this path. Waste the stuff on something better for the CE

I like the look of the game but as a MP fan.......this is NOT a true Max Payne sequel. Rockstar should of just made this into a new IP

Until you've played the game yourself, you can't sit there and say for sure it's not a true sequel. They haven't shown very much of the game as it is, and you're already writing it off as a BS title? Please. A sequel doesn't have to be a carbon copy of previous entries. There's nothing wrong with taking a series into a new direction as long as it works. Kids these days are so quick to bitch about every little thing before giving it a chance. Pathetic.

Don't sugarcoat it because it's Rockstar, no developer is perfect.

Can you honestly look at that game, look at the trailer, even read everything about it and tell me it's Max Payne 3 or sounds like a sequel.

Rockstar knew about all these concerns from the start and even when they released the VERY FIRST trailer they didn't convince us very well, they still showed the bright sunny day time setting, lack of a noire feel, the lack of the unique cutscene and it's style, happy dance music which cut over, as the guy above point out, recycled The Fall of Max Payne theme song................if you knew your fans were concerned you would make the very first trailer of the game adressing these problems, but they didn't....dosen't that tell you something. I mean it's common sense, have they really got to a point now where it's like "F*ck them, they'll eat up whatever we throw at them"

You can still say you like the game and criticize it....Rockstar aren't gods you know.

If it was their franchise then fair enough give them a chance since they havent dissapointed us so far...BUT it's not their franchise, it's Remedy's....they havent made this game game before and changing it isn't right to fans of the first two, despite if the game is really good.

Actually, he's rightly so in sugarcoating it cause it's made from Rockstar, they haven't disappointing their fans so far. Their worst game is better than most games out there. And Max Payne 3 looks freaking awesome!

Funny because I played Max Payne 2 and it seems like even though it had the same setting, feel, gameplay as the first it felt better, fresher and more exciting.Why fix something which isn't broken

Thats the truth, why didn't they make the very first trailer of MP aimed at the old MP fans who were worried. It's an obvious thing to do buissness wise, if the game actualy does have these things which made the old MP so great then they would of shown that but they didn't just the stuff which made people think "Is this really MP"

I felt like I was watching Die Hard the video game rather then Max Payne. Don't let Rockstars reputation cloud your judgment. If you don't critizisze something or speak out then the developers think they can get away with anything. Imagine what Coal would of looked like in INFAMOUS 2 if fans didn't speak out...............oh I'm sorry to you that's called bitching.

Either display it on a shelf and look like a complete nerd, or store it in cupboard to gather dust and take up room. Either way, these dumb statues that are included in CE's are a total waste of space. Just gives the publishers license to raise the price even more.

Still...psyched for the game! If there was an artbook instead of the statue I'd consider getting this.

The multiplayer skins are what interest me but not enough for me to put down a extra $40. It would of been an amazing collectors edition if they put HD remakes of Max Payne 1 & 2 in then I think everyone would go nuts over it.

Well lets see from a true max payne fan from first game dating back ooohh what 8 years or so, The second wasnt as good but that doesnt mean to say 3rd is going to be worse yes ok they killed his daughter and wife. F bastards anyways he got pay back.
But heres the deal rockstar has a choice here to drive his character into other scenarios.
Dont forget this guy lost everything hes still gonna be bitter pissed off and hurt, So why cant this guy go on to help others maybe others got wind of what max payne did and have chosen to take him down? Maybe there now a bounty on his head anything can happen if used in the right way.

As for multiplayer well its not the game itself now and most games have mp so i shuv that to ome side its just a bonus. Im concerntrating on the SP. and tell you another thing its gonna not only have new mechanics in this game but a whole new engine that be used in upcomming GTA. Beleave that.
