No Wizziokid, I CHOOSE not to have a 360 because most 360 exclusives don't interest me. That doesn't make me any less of a gamer than anyone else.

A few 360 games interest me but I still don't own one mainly because between PC and PS3 my wallet is raped by games enough as it is.

That's the case for me as well. My gaming budget is limited, so I have to make sure I choose the games and consoles that suit my gaming interests and play style.

Being a 'true gamer' has nothing to do with the consoles you own. It's about your attitude towards gaming and fellow gamers. True gamers transcend the console war foolishness and enjoy the hobby for what it is - entertainment.

Except you'd be missing out on too many games that will never make it to PC. E.g. UC, GOW, TLG, FF, LA Noire, RDR, and the list goes on and on.

mmo, rts, tbs,4x strategy, space sim, flight sim, true sim racers, and all the free mods, maps, total conversions

personally i own a sweet gaming pc, ps3, 360, ds, wii, iphone, ps2 (playing disgea), and a super nintendo still.....

but if i had to burn all but one, every console would go

pc gets 95% of all console games, AND is the only system that is actually backward compatible going back 20 years

consoles only get 60% of pc games and are stuck in last gen and only last gen, they only play a handful of ps2/xbox games and barely any ps1 game

hell, i can emulate every ps2 game practcly in true 1080p on my pc

guess what

in 3-4 years i will be emulating every ps3 and 360 exclusive in 1600p

pc....it's always does everything and it's always next gen in here!

Don't kid yourself. The PS3 and Xbox360 are closer in terms of overall graphics and power than you think.
Both systems cannot run a fraction of its games in 1080p above 30fps using real Anti-Aliasing.
How many games on these consoles use higher floating point HDR FOR ITS GAMES?
Use of real time lighting and effects while keeping 720p resolution?(which is a 7 year old resolution by PC standards)
They are almost the same.
The biggest difference in systems is the step up to the PC from consoles, NOT moving from one console to another.

I own both and like them equally they both have their positives and negs but I doubt I will be using my credit card anytime soon on ps3. Prepaid cards will be the way for psn purchases. Ps3 to me has a better lineup of exclusives xbox only a few gears being the one I look foward to nothing else maybe forza. Ps3 is even getting more exclusive content on games now. I wouldnt get rid of ps3 I like it too much bluray player also means alot to me I <3 bluray movies.

So weird that anyone would think they are safe on XBL. Sorry folks but the cold hard truth is that XBL is perpetually hacked. I constantly see people hacking and cheating on live. It's always been susceptible to hacking.

My roommate has a 360, full live subscription(I bought him for xmas) and yet he's always on my PS3 now.

If true, this story demonstrates how reactionary the masses can be. The risk of online gaming exists in all platforms.

Rather than recognizing this and taking better precautions to protect themselves(different passwords for their PSN accounts and email, using PSN cards as much as possible, etc.), these fools blindly think that switching to 360 will solve all problems.

Let's hope these hackers don't get MS in their crosshairs, and then all these fools will be flocking back to the PS3. Come to think of it, I think the 360 has been hacked in the past, but I could be wrong.

The reason why i got rid of my Box is because on the PS3 theres so many more games that i want to play. I know people will bash me for only one console but i prefer to only have one. And the reason why that is that most of the games are on both and from what i have seen most of the multiplats are identical so for me it isnt an issue. My next device will be the NGP because i want to play sony games on the go.
