The Rockstar Pass is now available to download on Xbox.com for 800 MS Points.

Details on this have been sketchy to say the least but not anymore. Should you decide to download The L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass you will get the following

So, they cut some content, only to release them over Xbox Live for 10 bucks? And I thought EA was doing a horrible thing with their online passes. This is even worse.

If they had just released the game with all the content included from the get-go, or the promise that DLC would be free, they would definitely have earned 50 bucks from me.

Well Rockstar will be getting 0 bucks from cos for some odd reason they didnt release it for PC, now i shall just borrow a friends Xbox 360 who has the game.

Like Rockstar is the first or the last company that made a huge game and planned it's DLC content.

The DLC was promotional and came free if you pre-ordered from Gamestop and other shops..The original part was that all had different cases.

Just played 'Naked' last night and loved it. Was actually suprised at how it was one of the longer cases. I think it's smart that Rockstar made a complete pack to get ALL of the DLC at once.

Either way..it's optional. Great game EASILT GOTY contender..

Sadly, the way N4G works is the newest submissions appear closer to the top when it really should be the other way around and so yours gets pushed down the list and less people see it.

Yeah same here. It sucks that pre-ordering the ps3 version didn't really net us anything super special as the "exclusive pre-order bonus" stuff will be available to download less than a month later. I could've saved money by not pre-ordering and could've put it towards this DLC package once psn was back up. :-\

The difference is Crapcom is charging $5 for one character, and $1 for a friggin' CPU battle (MvC3). There's also the pointless suits for Dead Rising among offenders. Scamco is equally as bad, Katamari packs were $4-5 dollars each at launch (It was about $50 for all of them), Vesperia has gold and items you can buy for a small advantage, and DV/Yoda were $5 each for Soul Calibur.

This, by comparison, is a bargain. $10 for 4 cases and the suits? I'm in. The Naked case was one of the longest in the main game and I'm hoping the other 3 are the same. Not to mention Achievements/Trophies for each case.

I noticed XBL had the cases individually, but I'm thinking they were like $4 each (320 MPs). You're better off getting the R* Pass.

This game started out okay, but I really lost interest in it. I'm almost at the end of the game, but I just can't seem to get myself to want to play it anymore.

Dispatch from police station
Drive
Arrive at crime scene (after everyone else has already looked it over)
Walk around for a while trying to find all the clues (really boring)
Go to suspects house
Tackle him to the ground (or beat him up)
Interrogate him

I just can't take the same thing over and over. Seems like all the cases are exactly the same every time. I never feel like I'm putting away the right person either.

Once you get halfway through the second case on the Arson desk the game picks up. I was getting really, really bored leading up to that but it finally decided to grab my interest again.

As for that final part of your post... well, keep playing.

FIX THE FREEZING PROBLEMS FIRST!! I can´t play the game, it freezes when it's loading the cutscenes... I deleted the game data, i can play another case, and then it freezes again on the next cutscene... I want a refund because it is the game, neither killzone 3, socom 4, portal 2, mortal kombat or castlevania get freezed on my slim, but LA NOIRE is unplayable...

I can understand the option of buying it all in one package.. But, it's kind of pointless to get the "Pass" if you already got some of the stuff...

Like I have the Gun, Naked City/BP Challenge and the Consul's Car.. just haven't redeemed the codes yet...

So I will just purchase what I want if I really want to... Because I remember the RDR DLC... and outside of the Nightmare DLC they mainly only affected Multiplayer....

But, I mean yeah.. $9.99 for access to DLC that includes DLC I already own... yeah probably not doing it... I will just take it case by case I suppose.. haha

I bought the pass for XBox-- and was able to download the Chicago Piano immediately.

But "Slip of the Tongue" does not show up in my Traffic cases -- (I already had Naked City) -- and can't figure out where or when it will show up.

When i clicked on Slip of the Tongue separately as DLC, I was going to be charged full price (320 more points) , so i did not proceed.

Any advice? Does anyone else have this problem (i.e. any part of the promised download not being active?)

Just to be sure, i have downloaded the pass twice --- and the full 800 points have been deducted from my account.

Go to menu of LA Noire and press x (?) for downloadable content.

It should be come up as "owned - download now" for all the dlcs. If you do it through the marketplace, it wont work and youll be charged.
