Dave Halverson writes, "Tales of witches; be they wicked or wonderful, have captured our imaginations since the Church declared open season on anything that flies, shapeshifts or has intercourse with demons. I don’t see what the big deal is. To each his, her, or its own I say. Besides, any Dogma based on creation by proclamation, a talking snake, paranormal impregnation, and talking shrubs (to name but a few passages from the book of he-who-munched-on-hallucinogen ics) should think twice before passing judgment on one based on Earth’s resources and natural cycles. Can’t we all just agree to scorn Scientology and get along? Gaming on the other hand has a rich history of celebrating all things pagan."
GamesAsylum: "If you’re remaining loyal to your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 for a while longer yet, you may be looking for something “new” to play. If that’s not the case now, then it may be in the not too distant future – a quick look at April’s release schedule reveals that there’s very little out.
We’ve taken this fleeting chance to round-up six games you may have missed. And if you have played all of these, then you sir have very fine taste"
yea im still using my 360 and didn't buy a nest gen , ive tried some next gen games but none was too wow to make me buy a console (titanfall will be released on 360 and that was the only game that made me want to buy a next gen)
so to the end of 14 the price would be cheaper and the games would be better :D
Just bought Bully and Manhunt for my PS3! I will keep going back to my PS3 like an French Mistress whenever my urges take hold!
So far I only bought one new game for either 7th-gen console this year. And that was Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z for the 360.
eGamer takes a look at the bad apples of 2011, and determines which one was the most rotten of them all.
I agree. I played the Bodycount demo and it was the worst FPS I've ever played. I didn't know shooting a gun in iron sights made the screen look as if a earthquake was occuring. LOL. Very disorientating. Duke Nukem Forever and Dungeon Siege III - I love both so I obviously wouldn't put them on the list. The others don't look interesting to begin with so I never gave them anytime.
I actually thought of buying Knights Contract, but when I saw the gameplay having to get the main character back on his feet if he took too many hits and watching how the AI co-op partner could never seem to stay out of harm's way causing a GAME OVER if she dies, I said it wasn't for me.
ACE: It may be difficult to believe, but Knight's Contract is a game so average and that I forgot I was reviewing it.
A good game will spur me on to finish as quickly as possible. A bad game will hold my interest if only to see how bad it gets. Knight's Contract is neither.
