Mafia II Errors, Crashes, ATI Fix,PhysX Fix, and Graphics Bugs

Immerse yourself into the Mafia 2 World of organized crime, work your way from bottom to top by making your name in the streets of cold and unforgiving city. But not before you resolve tons of game breaking errors, random freezes and crashes. (Mafia 2, PC)

That sucks, I'm sick of glitchy PC games, but who I'm I kidding? The average reviews turned this into a rental for me...

every game, on every platform
has some sort of glitches somewhere, the ones in mafia 2 are actually hard to come by. These errors are mostly just pc issues in general, not game issues. But i suppose xbox 360s and ps3 never break down... Physyx is hard to run though, that tweak makes it way easier.
The big difference between pc and console, on console you usually cant fix any issues.

Yep the definitive version...
the PC. Thats one reason I don't play as many pc games anymore. Not as comfotable to play on my laptop and all of the problems with compatibility and all the bugs early on. I know the pc gaming crowd will hammer me for this, but sometimes I just want to pop in a disc and play right away, not worry about installing it and upgrading when a new game comes out.

i would rather worry about performance issues i can never fix, hardware issues that break my entire system and I love limiting myself to one controller!
feelintheflow  +   1705d ago
how many controllers do you need?
I am on xbox 360 number two, got it replaced with my best buy warranty about a year and a half after launch, this one is fine, my ps3 is the 160 gb uncharted one I bought two years ago, so I am not worried about that, I am however also on my second laptop, had to send this one in because the motherboard was bad, so I guess you could say I have the same reliability rate as the 360 with my laptop. Like I said, I will give up the higher end graphics to just pop it in and play and not worry about reading the box to see if my computer is compatible. To each their own, just my opinion, not pushing it on anyone. I enjoy my 360 and ps3 controllers as well, no need for anything different.

The game runs perfectly for me without any issues
and it is also a great game, definitely NOT a 7/10 game more like 8.5 to 9 kind of game.

What the stupid idiot GTA fanboy reviewers do not realise is that they are hurting Rockstar games too because it is a Subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive which is also the owner of 2K games and 2K Czech (the developers of Mafia II).

Looks fantastic and runs smooth for me maxed.

Mafia II is a poor open world game but a really great action game. It's not GTA, nor does it intend to be.

Mafia II Errors, Crashes, ATI Fix,PhysX Fix, and Graphics Bugs

*If you didn't get the joke, it means that PC fanboy's think that PC gaming is so perfect, bug free & better then consoles.

PC fanboy's can't call there self a gamer because a real gamer play's any game they want to play & don't stick on one system.

I own PS3, Xbox 360 S, PC & you don't see me acting like a douchebag because oh PC gaming is better.

Real gamers play the best version possible,
In Mafia II's Case it is the PC version which looks flawless with grass, Blood and Hi Res Textures. Also it has Superior shaders and lighting.

Played perfectly for me on PC with no problems whatsoever.

Yeah I don't get the majority of complaints about game crashes. The only games I've ever had crash on me are sacred 2 and Fallout 3, 2 horribly optimised rpg's...

A lot of PC games don't even need patches, RE5, DMC4, SFIV, Dead Space...I can go on forever with games that never received a patch and never needed one.

I need to point out some insane PS3 fanboy hypocrisy 2, how's bayonetta doing?

I love how when a game on console's has glitches, "the developers suck!", but when a PC game has glitches....it is somehow the fault of the PC itself...lol. Way to fail kiddies.
