As we gear up for an all-new third Test Drive Unlimited instalment, Solar Crown, now is the perfect time to look back and discover why the 2006 original was so revered.
Team VVV writes: "We’ve known for almost two years now that BigBen Interactive has the rights to use and develop future Test Drive titles from Atari including the Test Drive Unlimited brand".
Whoa! Have'nt played one of those since my old IBM with CGA monochrome monitor....
BigBen Interactive has today announced they have acquired the rights to use and develop future Test Drive titles from Atari.
BigBen Interactive has also confrimed they have a project to develop new titles from the Test Drive Unlimted series.
I loved part 1 that had simulate racing physics and handling. Part 2 just fucked it up for me with its arcade style handling. This is the only game that can compete against FH3 if they bring back the physic style handling.
Have never heard of this developer, still exciting news though, loved both previous games.
So happy to hear this news. My favorite racing series is back!!! Now Motorstorm needs to come back.
Demo 1 was rubbish, I can only hope demo 2 makes me buy the game (for the full price what with living in Europe an all)
lmao rubbish? Hardly rubbish this game looks fantastic, has fantastic car models, fantastic physics and personally is very fun to me, it's one of my more favorite demos, not to mention it was an early demo from a non complete game, their was none of the motorcycles or anything in it, you saw barely nothing of the game considering it's pretty big, and none of the story features were involved like buying houses etc...this game is hardly rubbish, but I guess we're all allowed our own opinion...I think that the first demo was strictly to give everyone an idea of what you would see graphics wise and gameplay wise etc...oh and not to mention, it's always live, with everyone always able to be raced at anytime, that's AWESOME
Apparently the handling has been tweaked to near final spec so I can't wait to give the new demo a go. I've pre-ordered it anyway but nice to get a preview and some practice.
This game looks great and for the price it's a bargain.
I'll try this demo out for sure, having played the first one. I'd like to see what changes have been made.
