PES 2011 gameplay video shows tricks, passing

CVG writes:

It seems Konami is allowing journos to whip out there cameras and liberally film an early, code-ridden version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

Of course, this footage finds its way onto the internet and, as did our exclusive footage posted last week, it shows the game actually looking rather nice.

The title will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PS2 and PSP in autumn - and Konami reckons it's undergone 'the most radical revamp in its history'.

In the footage below two teams have bit of a kick about - neither taking it particularly seriously - with a few ball skills shown and plenty of crowd chanting.

The graphics are just plain unbelievable with that said if FIFA 11 doesn't make a drastic improvement from its predecessor then PES 11 here i come :-)

PES 11 (Alpha build)
Bug: Get rid of that glitchy footwork when standing still while dribbling with the ball. I know the game is still in alpha but knowing how dumb some of these people are on the net thinking it might be in the final build it shouldn't of been shown with that bug. However, i really want to get my hands on the demo i said the same about PES 10 but after seeing gameplay on the net i didn't bother wasting my time because it was too robotic and it suffered from not having an adequate amount of animation and only limited to 16 direction dribbling.

'Video's Killed the Brain Cells'

As it transpires the story, written by Richard Godwin, is a small slice of praise for Del Rey’s song - ‘Video Games’, we are told, is a ‘heartbreaking ballad’ and a ‘perfect modern pop song, as authentic as they come. It takes an ancient theme (unrequited love) and puts it in a contemporary context (the object of her love keeps ignoring her, retreating into video games).

‘Video Games’ really is a lovely track, and one that deserves to be heard if you haven’t heard it already.

It is in the final pa...

Whhaaaaatt!? Video game no hurt Brain!! :O

Seriously though this is nonsense, there is absolutely no proof that games have any ill effect on a persons health or psyche.
