Sony Online Entertainment follows its popular kids virtual world Free Realms with a new offering based on the hugely popular Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated TV show. With a huge quest, and plenty of minigames, its likely to be a popular choice with both kids and adult fans.
The Koalition: "Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) hosts an annual event to celebrate their massive stable of free-to-play MMO games, as well as an opportunity for them to finally shed some more light on the next Everquest game. SOE’s library of current offerings includes: DC Universe™ Online, Dragon’s Prophet™, EverQuest®, EverQuest® II, Free Realms®, PlanetSide®2 (review here,) PoxNora®, Star Wars®: Clone Wars Adventures™ and Vanguard® Saga of Heroes. With so many games on their roster, it’s no surprise that they host an annual event to celebrate the games and gamers. The event is being held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 1 – Aug. 4, 2013."
Darth Maul Returns in Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures. Skewed and Reviewed have posted images of the evil Sith back in action.
Maul is going to be around a good amount on season 5 next season. I just wish they would explain how he survived and escaped Naboo. Not so easy minus legs.
Just in time for the holidays SOE drops a very large expansion for the ever popular MMO, StarWars The Clone Wars Adventures. Featuring everything from new combat upgrades to a series of new mission, this is could be an early Christmas gift for fans of the MMO. Except for the fact that this gift might cost you a few of those Christmas bucks, you should find yourself full of cheer over the new content.
I probably wont play this. But the Star Wars Clone Wars TV show is probably the most awesome "kids show" ever made. So awesome I bought it on DVD.
