Most puzzle games are simple enough for the youngest of gamers. But the music component of the gameplay, challenging CPU opponents (even on Easy Mode), and the confusing Beat-O-Matic might frustrate and discourage younger gamers and they may need some help from an older player. The many multiplayer modes for up to four players are great for families, though.

Inevitably, that bewitching element loses its appeal, as I realize the game is nothing more than a variant of an existing amusement. The relationship inevitably expires as I move on to the next sparkling diversion. My name is DesertEagle, and I am a serial puzzle-gaming monogamist."

While some might appreciate the unique and somewhat tasty flavor, more then likely most people would chose to avoid that combination all together. 0D Beat Drop has a lot of things going for it but unfortunately the implementation of them is what makes the game fall a bit short."
